Bill Salvesen
Vice President, Project Development Committee Chair
Division President, Seattle Division
Lennar
Bill Salvesen is in his 10th year with Lennar serving the first four years as Seattle’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing and since then as Division President. Bill is a 30-year veteran of the homebuilding business having started his career in the greater Puget Sound marketplace back in 1991 as a New Home Consultant.
After many years of selling new homes, Bill had a strong desire to lead and coach a team of his own. He would eventually become a Sales Manager and get that opportunity before advancing to his role of VP of Sales and Marketing. Bill credits leadership mentors in his life who inspired him to be a servant leader, always acknowledging the reality of a situation, and leading through it by inspiring his team.
In 2015, Bill was named Sales Manager of the Year by Seattle’s New Home Council and three years later received that organizations prestigious Legend Award. Although those were proud moments, the awards earned by those associates Bill coached over the years are much more rewarding to him. He credits the culture at Lennar and the focus on doing the right thing for the right reason as keys to success. A significant part of the Lennar culture is their “Focused Acts of Caring” program which facilitates Lennar’s associates and Trade Partners ability to give back to the communities they build homes in.
Bill and his wife Rhonda live in Tacoma, WA
